» From hard to soft music

About 4 years ago, I started listening to punk, and well.. I still do. While I’ve always been listening to other music as well, punk (and ska) have always been the main theme of my musical taste. An interesting thing to note about that is that the reason to that might just be that I played too much Tony Hawk 2 at school :)

Anyway, while the amount of punk and/or other music I’ve listened to always have varied, I’m seeing a tendency later to listen to more and more soft music. And I like it! Not in the sense that “I’m so glad I listen to that music, cause that music is great”, but listening to soft/calm music is admittedly harder to get a small headache from (which I’m getting, not often at all, but occasionally when listening to punk/hard music in general). In addition, I can listen to the music louder without anyone complaining (as I’m living at home still) :)

It’ll be interesting to see if it continues, though. The reason why I’ve started to listen to this now is that people have sent me an album here and there, and lately, it’s mostly been of the chill type. Artists like Jack Johnson, Kings of Convenience and Julian Berntzen springs to mind when thinking of the artists I’ve received albums of lately. Want to say thanks to the people who have been nice enough to send them to me as well :)
